A beautiful day in Santa Paula

I spent yesterday in a Limoneira in Santa Paula….isn’t this view of the trees beautiful? All I could think about was lemonade! I picked a couple lemons that had fallen onto the ground and took them home. Will squeeze them all over a roast chicken tonight and then make a glass of lemonade, too! Will let you know if they taste different than the ones drooping off the trees at my mother’s house in Indian Wells!

The picnic table in Santa Paula…..Arugula salad with Sweet Butter’s Dijon Vinaigrette, La Brea rolls and a Poached Chicken, Asparagus, Red Pepper, Bok Choy and Cashew salad with a Sesame-Ginger Vinaigrette that I have been perfecting for weeks now!
